Tony Hawk has created a new image for skateboarding. Today, Tony Hawk is the worlds best professional skateboarder. He was born on May 12, 1968 in San Diego, California. Tony began his skateboarding journey when he was just 9 years old after his brother gave him a blue fiberglass banana board. By the time Tony was 12 years old he was already sponsored by Dogtown Skateboards, by 14 he was pro, and by 16 years old, Tony Hawk was the best skateboarder in the world.
